The Alyn Valley Woods SAC is shown in green. Other important areas of interest to FOAVW are enclosed by the black lines.
All of the woods and other areas are PRIVATELY-OWNED, by several different people, many of whom support our activities.
There are Nature Reserves both upstream (Loggerheads Country Park [included in green area on the map]) and downstream (Rhydymwyn Nature Reserve) and other adjacent woodland is owned by the Woodland Trust.

Blue egg = Pantymwyn Bus Terminus

Yellow egg = Pont Newydd Car Park
